The design process began with the conversion and expansion of the existing brick building. The guiding principle of the conversion was to respect and preserve the values of the original brick building, while creating modern and functional spaces that meet the needs of the community. During the design, special attention was paid to ensuring that the main walls and external facade character of the existing building harmoniously fit into the new parts of the building created by the expansion.
The renovated part of the building houses two group rooms, which provide a pleasant and inspiring environment for the children’s daily activities. As part of the expansion, a new wing has been created, which allows for a spacious community space, which allows for multifunctional use, from events to meetings with parents. This is accompanied by a café, which creates a friendly atmosphere for parents and the local community, and a third group room, which serves to increase the capacity of the nursery.
